Dr. Coleman is a native of Northeast Mississippi. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry in 2008.
He went on to pursue his medical training at Des Moines University – College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery where he became a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2012. While there, he was awarded a university merit scholarship and was a teaching assistant to first year medical students.
After graduating from DMU, he completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. During his tenure there, he spent additional time as a fellow at Bako Pathology Services in Alpharetta, GA receiving specialized training in podiatric dermatology and dermatopathology.
Dr. Coleman has been active in podiatric education and research lecturing at multiple conferences as well as publishing several research studies and book chapters. When not at work, he enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Stefanie, and daughter, Tessa. He also enjoys exercising, watching sports and working on computers.
