Murray Butler, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist at Mid-South Foot & Ankle Specialists in Memphis, Tennessee. He sees patients at the East Memphis office and specializes in pediatric and adult flatfoot reconstruction, sports injuries, complex deformity correction, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Butler’s hometown is Huntingdon, Tennessee. He completed his undergraduate degree at Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. He earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Butler completed his residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He participates in continuing education to maintain his medical credentials and is board-certified in foot surgery and rearfoot/ankle reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Butler is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Butler loves spending time with his wife and four children, working out, coaching and playing sports with his kids, cooking, and being outdoors.
He compassionately welcomes new and existing patients to Mid-South Foot & Ankle Specialists and enjoys improving the function, structure, and overall health of their lower extremities.
